Welcome!
I’m Kassity, and I'm here to offer you a compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can make sense of your experiences and reconnect with yourself. I offer support for individuals in navigating periods of transition, conflict, self-exploration, emotional challenges, and substance use concerns.
My approach is collaborative and rooted in respect for each person’s individual identity and lived experience. I bring a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and holistic perspective to the challenges you may be facing. I draw from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Polyvagal Theory to support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and the development of emotional safety, self-understanding, and personal growth.
In our work together, substance use counselling can include exploring change, moderation, harm reduction, abstinence, and relapse prevention - always at a pace and direction that feels right for you.
Currently, I offer virtual counselling sessions. I invite you to reach out for a no-cost consultation if you’re curious about beginning this work together. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
